you are protected
Work-study is not an internship. You benefit from all employee rights.
Right to salary
You receive a monthly salary from the start of your contract, paid directly by the company to your bank account.
Paid leave
2.5 working days per month, i.e. 30 days per year. Identical to regular employee rights.
Full social protection
Health coverage, pension, unemployment (in some cases). You contribute like any employee.
Respect for your study time
The employer cannot keep you at the company during your school weeks. This time is protected by law.
