What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file stored on your device when you visit a website. INSIAC also uses your browser's local storage (localStorage) for similar purposes: making the site work, remembering your preferences, and — if you agree — measuring site traffic.
In line with GDPR, only cookies essential to the site's operation are set by default. Analytics cookies are only activated after you give consent, which you can change at any time from this page.
Essential cookies
Always active
- Login session — Keeps you signed in to your candidate, teacher, or admin portal.
- Language preference — Remembers whether you browse the site in French or English.
- Display preference — Remembers your display preferences (theme, etc.).
- Cookie choice — Stores your cookie preference so we don't ask again on every visit.
Analytics cookies
Only enabled with your consent
- Google Analytics (GA4) — Measures site traffic and usage in an anonymized way to help us improve it.
- Google Tag Manager — Manages the loading of our audience-measurement tools.
- Hotjar — Helps us understand how visitors use the site (heatmaps, navigation paths).
Your rights
You can accept, reject, or change your choice about analytics cookies at any time using the "Manage my preferences" button above or the cookie icon at the bottom of the screen. For any question about your personal data, contact us at contact@insiac.fr.
