Complete guide · INSIAC Work-Study

    Understand
    work-study fully

Contracts, salaries, rhythms, OPCO funding. A complete guide to starting your work-study in cybersecurity with full confidence.

    The principle

    Work-study:
    school + company
    at the same time

Work-study is an employment contract that combines theoretical training at school with professional practice in a company. You are a full employee, with a real salary, real responsibilities and a real diploma at the end.

    Diploma-track formation
    Regulated monthly salary
    Company experience
    OPCO-funded training

Work-study is different from an internship: you are an employee, you contribute to pension and you benefit from all employee rights.

    Your remuneration

    Receive a salary
    from day one

As a work-study student, you are an employee. Your remuneration is calculated according to a regulated scale, increased each year.

    Progressive remuneration

Salary increases automatically each contract year. The further you progress, the more your remuneration grows.

    Age-based

Remuneration takes your age at contract signing into account. More experienced profiles benefit from a higher reference rate.

    Above the legal minimum

In cybersecurity, companies often offer remuneration above legal minimums, recognising the technical skills required.

    Employee status

You are an employee: your remuneration is paid every month, with pay slip, social contributions and pension rights.

To find out the details of your remuneration for your profile, contact our team. We will help you calculate your personalised situation and negotiate the best offer.

    Funding

    Who pays what?
    The OPCO's role

    Step 1

    Company recruits you

They sign the work-study contract and join their branch OPCO.

    Step 2

The Skills Operator pays INSIAC's teaching costs directly, according to the funding level.

    Step 3

    You train for free

No money is asked from you. You receive your salary every month throughout the entire training period.
